1. Scope

Rasid is an independent software service operated by Ahmed Omar, trading as Rasid.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refund requests are handled for Rasid subscriptions and related billing. It should be read together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Paddle checkout terms, and any rights or information shown during checkout.

2. Paddle as merchant of record

Rasid subscriptions are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle may handle payment processing, applicable taxes, invoices, refunds, chargebacks, buyer support, and payment-method processing under its own Buyer Terms, Privacy Policy, refund policies, and checkout terms.

Rasid does not store full payment-card details in its application database. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle through the original payment method where supported by Paddle and the payment method.

3. Cancellations

Customers can cancel a paid subscription through Rasid's self-service billing flow or through a Paddle customer portal when available.

Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Access remains available until the end of that paid period unless the service is suspended or restricted for another valid reason, such as nonpayment, abuse prevention, security, fraud review, legal compliance, or a material breach of the Terms.

A scheduled cancellation can be withdrawn before it takes effect when Paddle and Rasid support that action for the subscription.

4. Refund requests

Cancellation does not automatically create a refund. Refund requests are reviewed according to Paddle's Buyer Terms, Paddle's refund policies, applicable consumer law, and any additional rights, notices, or terms displayed during checkout.

Rasid does not promise automatic refunds, fixed refund windows, guaranteed approval, or fixed processing times. Refund eligibility can depend on the product, subscription state, payment history, applicable law, Paddle's review, and the information shown to the customer at checkout.

Nothing in this policy limits any legally required cooling-off, withdrawal, cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights that apply to a customer.

5. Approved refunds and timing

If a refund is approved, Paddle processes the refund through the original payment method where possible. Rasid cannot guarantee the exact time it takes for funds to appear.

Processing times may depend on Paddle, the customer's bank, card provider, wallet, payment method, payment network, or other payment-service provider.

6. Plan changes, trials, and access

Rasid presents the timing and price effect of supported plan changes before confirmation. During a trial, a selected paid tier can change without an immediate charge and applies to the first scheduled billing. For an active subscription, a supported change can be scheduled for the next billing period according to the confirmation shown in Rasid and the state accepted by Paddle.

The current new-subscription flow includes a 14-day trial with a fixed allowance of 10,000 billable events during the trial. The paid event tier selected at checkout applies after the trial.

7. How to contact us

For billing, cancellation, refund, or subscription assistance, contact support@getrasid.com. Include enough detail for us to identify the relevant Rasid Workspace or Paddle transaction, but do not send passwords, payment-card details, provider tokens, or other sensitive secrets by email.

Where Paddle needs to handle a buyer-support or payment issue directly, Rasid may direct you to Paddle's support flow or coordinate with Paddle as appropriate.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy as Rasid, Paddle, the billing model, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the last-updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice.
